The fair will include spring craft and gift stalls, fun children’s activities, charity raffle, tombola and more!

Children can come along to meet our Peppa Pig lookalike ‘Popular Pig’ or to enjoy face painting, marble magic, Easter games and pottery paining with The Clay Cottage staff.

Entry for adults £1.50, children under 16 free.

To mark the forthcoming London 2012 Olympic Games, Southend is hosting - Sparks Will Fly Southend - an exciting day of celebratory events. Be inspired to pull on those running shoes and join us at our 5k seafront run. All proceeds from this event will go directly to charity.

Participants can run, jog or join the wacky walk. All abilities and families welcome – all children must be accompanied by an adult. Why not embrace the fun and complete the race in fancy dress? To avoid any obstructions, runners will start the race first followed by walkers.

Kids! Are you fit enough to try-a-tri and take on the Southend Youth Charity Triathlon? Children can either do all three sports themselves, one after the other – swim, cycle and run – or enter with two friends as part of a team.

All 8 – 16 year olds welcome, distances vary depending on age categories. Relay teams of 3 can also take part (1 swimmer, 1 cyclist, 1 runner).
